2012 Porter Classic Parking Guide:
- A $2 admission discount will be given to the drivers of cars using the overflow lot.
- There is no parking on Oak Valley Drive and the township will ticket.
- Arrive 30 minutes earlier than you would otherwise. Don’t find yourself in a panic searching for a parking spot just as your daughter’s team is about to skate. Illegally parked cars MAY be towed so be smart.
- Carpool or have someone drop you off, especially if you have Saturday practice. Expect a full lot.
- Use our shuttle and overflow parking on Saturday and Sunday. Arrive early, drop off your family and drive to the overflow lot. If the shuttle is at the rink tell the driver you are going to the overflow lot and he will follow you there. The shuttle driver will give all drivers using the overflow lot a $2 admission discount coupon. The shuttle will leave the Ice Cube for the lot approximately every 20 minutes and will promptly return from the lot. Shuttle service will run until approximately 6pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. If you are leaving after the shuttle has stopped regular trips to the overflow lot just ask the volunteers at the Admission Table to let the shuttle driver know you need a ride to the lot.
- To get to the overflow lot turn left out of the rink and travel 0.8 mile on Oak Valley Drive to the back entrance of the Oak Valley Centre on your left. Pay attention because there is no sign for the Oak Valley Centre on this back entrance. This will take you behind Chucky Cheese and you will enter the parking lot at the northeast corner. Porter overflow parking will be straight ahead and marked so you can easily find the correct location in the lot. Road signs will be posted to guide you.
- Remember arrive early and be patient.

Buses
- There is no room at the rink for your bus to wait. They will need to drop you off and leave. Detail directions for the bus drivers was emailed to all of the team contacts. In case you need an extra copy you can download it here.
